Where the catalogue came from

We started with the things a house needs twice a year and never quite has: a wreath that still holds its round after a summer in the loft, a light string long enough to reach the far end of a porch, a box of tacks that does not run out halfway along a chair. The list grew sideways from there.

Today the shelves hold twenty-two pieces built for December, thirteen for the autumn table, and fifty-three that pay no attention to the calendar at all. The last group is the one that surprises people: junction boxes, curtain brackets, magnetic clips and cast iron hooks outnumber the tinsel by a wide margin.

How a piece gets onto a shelf

Every design starts with a measurement and a material, in that order. We settle how long the strand has to run, how wide the mat has to sit, how much weight the hook has to take, and only then what it is made from. A piece goes on sale when the sample survives the thing it was built for: the mat gets hosed, the hook gets loaded, the wreath gets flattened in a bin and pulled out again.

Fifty-seven designs stand behind the eighty-eight pieces on these shelves, because several are made in more than one size or pattern. Those variants get their own page rather than a dropdown, so the inch count you read is the inch count you get.

What you will not find here

We do not run a checkout. Everything in this catalogue is listed with a retail partner, and the buttons hand you across to that listing to read the current price, the stock and the delivery window. Payment, packing and returns all sit on that side of the fence, which is why there is no rate table anywhere on these pages and no code to type at the end.

Where we sit

Letters reach us at that desk. It is an office and not a showroom, so there is nothing on display to try, no counter to stand at, and no one there who can take a parcel off you.
